Step 4: Prepare for Your Interview

Is there a fee to be featured on the podcast?
Yes. The JustBE Consulting Business Spotlight Podcast has a $150 USD non-refundable video editing and production fee.
This fee covers the production and editing of your recorded interview and the preparation of content for publication and promotion.
There is no separate application or selection fee. Once you have completed the podcast registration and paid the $150 USD production fee, we will arrange your recording.
Does applying guarantee an interview?
Yes. The $150 USD production fee secures your podcast recording opportunity.
Once your registration has been completed and payment has been received, we will arrange your recording with you.
The fee is for the podcast production service and is non-refundable, subject to the applicable Podcast Terms and Conditions.
Do I need previous podcast experience?
No.
You do not need any previous podcast, media or interview experience. First-time podcast guests are welcome.
The conversation is designed to be relaxed and informative, giving you an opportunity to share your story, experience, expertise and business with the audience.
What can I talk about during my interview?
Your interview can focus on your business, professional expertise, personal entrepreneurial journey, industry insights, lessons learned, challenges you have overcome, or topics that provide genuine value to listeners.
The aim is to create an authentic conversation rather than simply a sales presentation.
Can I promote my business during the interview?
Yes.
You are welcome to talk about your business, services, website, social media channels, offers, resources and ways for people to contact or work with you.
We encourage guests to share useful information and relevant calls to action while keeping the conversation valuable and engaging for listeners.
Will my business links be included?
Where appropriate, your website, social media profiles, booking links and other relevant business information may be included in the episode description or associated promotional content.
Please provide your preferred links and business information through the podcast registration process.
What does the $150 USD fee include?
The $150 USD non-refundable production fee covers the podcast production process associated with your interview, including video editing and preparation of the episode for publication and promotional use.
Where applicable, content may also be repurposed into promotional clips or other marketing content.
The fee does not constitute a guarantee of a specific number of promotional posts, views, leads, clients or business results.
Will I receive the interview recording?
You will receive access to the published episode where applicable.
Raw or unedited recording files are not automatically included. If you require a specific recording file or additional editing beyond the standard production process, this may be subject to additional arrangements or fees.
When will my episode be published?
We will work with you to arrange your recording and publication as part of the podcast production process.
While we aim to publish episodes as efficiently as possible, a specific publication date cannot be guaranteed.
Production schedules, editing requirements and the overall podcast publishing schedule may affect the final release date.
Can I share my episode?
Absolutely.
Once your episode has been published, you are welcome to share the published episode and approved promotional content across your website, social media, email marketing and other appropriate channels.
We encourage guests to use the published links and promotional assets provided by JustBE Consulting.
Can I also apply for a supplier listing or freelance opportunity?
Yes.
The podcast, supplier/business listing and freelance opportunities are separate offerings.
You may participate in the podcast and separately apply for other JustBE Consulting opportunities where you meet the relevant requirements.
Additional services may have their own fees and terms.

What happens after I register and pay?
Once your registration has been completed and the $150 USD production fee has been received:
- Your podcast recording will be arranged.
- You will receive information about the recording process.
- You will participate in your podcast interview.
- Your interview will be edited and prepared for publication.
- The completed episode will be scheduled for publication.
- Published and approved promotional content may be made available for you to share.

To help us prepare for your interview, you should provide accurate information about yourself and your business, including your:
